RB: Gary "Logan" Neville

LB: Ashley Cole

CB: John Terry (armband)

CB: Rio Ferdinand

RM: David Bec Steven Gerrard

LM: Stewart Downing

CM: Owen Hargreaves

CM: Frank Lampard

CF: Peter Crouch

CF: Jermaine Defoe

Joe Cole would probably have started at left mid if not for injury (though McLaren does heart that Stewart Downing...) and it seems Dean Ashton might have started if he hadn't broken his ankle in training yesterday.

McLaren has promised pace and width, and that the shackles will come off against Greece. Kick off is 8:05 p.m. in England (BBC) and 3:05 p.m. EST in the colonies (fox soccer channel).
