The Union Of European Football Associations (UEFA)'s Club Financial Control Panel have decided to implement a set of rules from the year 2013-14 that will have a major impact on the functioning of european football. For the football fan , what this means that there will be no longer spending sprees on some of the most decorated football players in the world.
The main way this affects world football is that it is now essential for all European clubs to get their finances right without borrowing from the deep pockets of some of the wealthiest owners of some of these clubs. Clubs failing to do so may even face being banned from the Champions League which is widely considered as the highest trophy in European football.
