The local clubs Darien Dynamo Soccer team and Oak Brook Hawks have merged to form the Untied Soccer Academy, this move will enable them nurture stronger teams. The United Soccer academy will begin its tryouts for season 2011-2012 which begins in May.
Chris Karabatsis the head coach of 'Darren Dynamo Soccer Club' has played 14 years of professional soccer in Europe; whereas Tony Hepburn director of coaching for 'Hawks', though being a native of England has lived in US for 16 years, has played Professional soccer in United Kingdom and Portugal. Both of them have a great experience in youth soccer training and coaching.
Karabatsis will look after the Club's high school training programs while Hepburn will guide the U-8 and U-14 programs. According to officials anticipation around 500 students playing for 45 different teams will be the part of United Soccer Academy.
