A global journey…

After their 2010 World Cup debacle, the French soccer team made a break with the past of sorts by introducing a uniform by the soccer team's new sponsor – Nike. The French soccer players will now wear all-blue jerseys and white shorts. Red, the third color in the French flag is visible when the shirt sleeves are turned.
Nike chose a daringly different design for 'Les Blues' as the French soccer team is popularly known. Replacing the traditional soccer t-shirt in the 3 French flag colors and sponsor logo, is the new soccer team jersey with a thin color and a sleek single colored torso.
Many felt that the new French soccer team uniform looked more like runway fashion wear than athletic soccer attire, but then again the French are known for being fashionable and soccer players more often walk runways than playing in the field these days.
