AT&T has announced that it will add FOX Soccer Plus HD to its AT&T U-verse TV channel lineup. U-Verse TV is an IP-based TV service, and the company will be offering a free-view to U-verse TV soccer fans. The deal helps AT&T with strategic content initiatives and gives U-verse customers access to more premium sports content. The FOX Soccer Plus HD channel will deliver exclusive world soccer matches from the best leagues live, including England's Barclays Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, England's FA Cup and Italy's Serie A.
In addition, the channel will broadcast premium rugby from the Heineken Cup, the Aviva Premiership and the Magners League as well as other competitions. U-verse includes Total Home DVR that lets viewers watch and manage recordings from a single DVR or any connected TV in the house.
