A global journey…

Flamengo fans celebrated Ronaldinho's return to Brazilian soccer after 10 seasons in Europe by donning Ronaldinho masks, waving his pictures and chanting his name.

The Sao Paulo stadium was packed with 40,000 fans who keenly watched Ronaldinho's every move and cheered ever time he took part in the action. Ronaldinho could not score any goal, but he created some good chances for his team. He missed the one good chance to score off a free kick, which was saved by the opposition goalkeeper.

The only goal of the match was scored by Flamengo substitute Wanderley. At the end of the game the crowd roared and gave a standing ovation to Ronaldinho who has come back to Brazil to bring his career back on track and find a place in the national team for 2014 World Cup.
