Sepp Blatter, president of FIFA announced that the federation would conduct interviews for the whistleblower who suspected that two committee members were bribed to exchange the votes during 2022 World Cup Selection. Blatter did not overlook the possibility of a re-election for 2022 bid, while he noted that this would be a stepwise process.

There is rising pressure over the organization for a new election to decide by whom the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be hosted. FIFA cannot be overlooking the allegations as many eyes are fixed on media.
Confusion is that would FIFA allow vote from the same executive committee which has been proved corrupt last year. If FIFA wants to maintain integrity, then the dishonest committee should be banned from voting in the next elections.
