Mahdavikia married his first wife, Sepideh, eight years ago. He married his second, Samira, last December in Tehran. When Samira discovered what was going on she ditched her half-husband, but Sepideh has stuck with him. Bigamy is illegal in Germany but Mahdavikia won't be prosecuted as both marriages took place in Iran.
