A global journey…
Some things I missed while away from Soccer-Weblog:
1. Roman Abramovich tightening the purse strings. About time.
2. The January transfer window being incredibly dull.
3. Cristiano Ronaldo to Barcelona/Madrid rumours.
4. England getting even worse under Steve McClaren. Get rid of him.
5. USA beating Mexico. Incredible. Give Bob the Job.
6. Italian football imploding
7. Barcelona infighting with Eto'o, Ronaldinho and Rijkaard all at each other's troats.
8. Ronaldo moving to Milan. And not being fat any more. Would love to see him have one final chapter.
9. The massive American takeover of Liverpool. That's three American owners in the Premiership now, and another big club ready to spend big money next summer.
10. Rafa Benitez calling Everton a small club. Ouch.
