The final cost of building the new Wembley stadium will be nearly £1 billion, with construction company Multiplex set to take a heartbreaking (for them) £183 million loss on the project.
The English love to complain about such extravagant expenditure (remember the Millennium Dome debacle?) but I say don't worry about the cost, just get ready to enjoy what will be the world's greatest football stadium.
