A global journey…

Walcott Back In Action

After an eternity of bench warming for Arsenal and then England (great World Cup seats though) Theo Walcott will pull the splinters out of his multi-million pound backside and actually play a game of football today. He should feature in England Under 21s' European Championship qualifier at home to Moldova. Kick off is 8 p.m. and live on Sky Sports if you live in England, 3 p.m. EST on fox soccer channel in the US of A.

Walcott's career path is all upside down. Should he play (and I'm hoping he'll start) then it will be his Under 21 debut, despite having already played for the senior England team but having never set foot in the Premiership.
