Video: FC Dallas 5-6 LA Galaxy, take that Jim Rome!

This SuperLiga game should have been a massive disappointment, what with all those Dallas natives paying money just to see David Beckham, and then Becks not even making the trip. Though as someone apparently said "If you came out just to see one person, you deserve what you get."

Very true. But what you actually got was an INCREDIBLE (and I don't use all caps very often) game, with LA Galaxy beating FC Dallas 6-5 and even the normally inexcitable (unexcitable?) Landon Donovan getting all riled up. Check out his "game over" gesture to Dallas fans after scoring LA's 5th.

He was wrong of course because there were still three goals to come, but LD's new to all this attitude stuff so we'll let it pass. The LA win means they're in the SEMI-finals which take place mid-August, meaning old Goldenballs may actually get a chance to play him some SuperLiga after all.
