Say what you like about MLS but it's a league that damn near guarantees goals via bicycle kick. This great specimen from Taylor Twellman was the only goal in the Eastern Conference Championship game (basically the MLS Cup semi-final) and enough for New England to beat Chicago 1-0 and advance to the MLS Cup final. How he managed to do that with a defender on either side of him (and without blinding them too) is anyone's guess, but fair play to him.
As proof of MLS' overhead credentials here's their YouTube channel's official (I think?) history of MLS bicycle kicks:
Got to love Brian Ching's effort from last season purely for the distance the ball travels, and after Houston won the other semi-final (2-0 over Kansas City since you ask) we can look forward to a Twellman vs Ching bike off in MLS Cup Final 2007.
