Shaun Wright-Phillips is back on track for a place in Sven's World Cup squad after his performance against Everton in the FA Cup. SWP's been out of the Chelsea first XI, making 10 minute cameos that weren't helping his confidence.

Chelsea's Assistant Manager Steve Clarke was full of praise for the little man. "If I was England manager and I watched the game I'd be saying: 'He's not a bad player that Shaun Wright-Phillips, he could do a job for me come the World Cup.

"We have to pick another squad at the weekend, we'll see what it is. But on that performance he deserves to be in.

"That was his first full 90 minutes. It will make a big difference to him. He's worked great in training. You can tell some people when they've gone off the boil their confidence is low, they tend to sulk and hide in training a bit. Not Shaun. His character's great."
