Diego Simeone will take over managerial duties at Racing Club, following the resignation of Fernando Quiroz. 35 year old midfield hardman Simeone won a record 106 caps for Argentina, but has no managerial experience.

It's always a gamble to take your tentative managerial steps in a big job. Simeone has earned a lot of respect down the years but that will soon evaporate if Racing don't get results.
