Wayne rooney wants the England armband next time it's passed around.
The talented red-card collector told Sky Sports:
"Hopefully, in a few years, when the next captain is named I will be in there with a chance.
"I'm loud on the pitch, like a lot of players, but that's just me trying to help and get your team up for the game."
Does he mean that time he got in a foul mouthed slanging match with then skipper Beckham? Maybe Wayne should just concentrate on keeping his temper under control for now.
