The Ronaldo to MLS rumour is back according to BigAppleSoccer.com. Quoting some very vague "leaguewide sources" the website claims "it's a done deal" and Ronaldo will be joining New York Red Bulls after the World Cup.
I'm still sceptical. The marquee player rule that allows MLS clubs to sign one high profile player without affecting the salary cap is not yet in place, and seems unlikely Ronaldo will want to take a gigantic paycut for what may be his final transfer. But Ronaldo won't be keen to spend another season at Madrid, so it may all depend on how he performs at the World Cup this summer. If he looks impressive in a Brazil shirt then one of the larger European clubs may be tempted to offer Ronaldo another big money pay day.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!
“It’s a done deal”?!?!?!?!?
I love reading a good joke!!
Man, I don’t know what sources are saying that, but I think they smoke a lot of reefer!
Ronnie would rather shoot himself in the foot and retire, than join the MLS. He would move to Qatar for 10 million a season, and then move NY to spend the money on prostitutes before joining the “Red Bulls”! hahaha too funny!

Daryl- I want to send you a photo of the huge 80foot Don’t Tread jersey Nike hoisted prior to US team leaving Hartford…. since you were earlier talking about the 1,000 USD worn jerseys, this one definitely isnt worn. How should I send?
