Real Madrid are top of the Football Money League, as compiled by business advisers Deloitte.
This is a direct result of Florentino Perez's infamous 'galactico' policy, and one of his stated goals was to make Madrid the world'd most commercially successful club. There's no question that buying big name players guarantees shirt sales, but the galactico experiment has proven that this is no way to build a proper team.
I hope Perez enjoys being top of the money league as it's Madrid's only title since 2002.
