The reliable folks at football365 have started a debate close to my heart.
When watching England World Cup games, would you rather be in the pub or in your living room?
After long experience of both, I favour the comfort of the living room with a handful of trustworthy friends over being packed tightly into a sweaty pub with fools who shout at the screen thinking players can hear them.

I'd have to say I prefer a pub with a bunch of drunk fans and friends. MUCH more fun (and harder to come by in my rural neck of the woods) Of course I have 4 kids so any excuse to get out of the house - the World Cup has proved quite useful in that department! 'But honey I just have to watch it on a widescreen (which we don't have yet - sigh)
