Paul Ince for Blackburn Rovers

It is widely reported that Paul Ince, the current manager of the MK Dons, will shortly be announced as the new man in charge at Blackburn rovers
following Mark Hughes' move to Manchester City. This news will be greeted with joy by most Blackburn supporters for two main reasons.
The second reason is that Paul Ince has made a very promising start to his managerial career after a hugely successful time as a player.
The main reason however must be because Steve McClaren had been linked to the job and that would have been a total disaster for the fans. The news that he isn't going there will be greeted more warmly than the news that Incey is!
Paul Ince earned a great deal of respect during his career with West Ham, Manchester United, Inter and Liverpool amongst others as well as gaining fifty-three England caps.
As a manager, Ince has served his apprenticeship in the lower leagues by somehow rescuing a doomed Macclesfield Town in season 2006-07 and then taking MK Dons to promotion in 2007-08. He deserves his chance at the highest level and I'm sure that the Blackburn fans are hoping that he chooses them to be the club he starts his management with at the top level.
Steve McClaren, on the other hand, has a great record as a coach and an assistant but no record of any sort as the man in charge. He achieved little with Middlesbrough and even less with England.
I know some Blackburn fans who have been saying, 'anyone but McClaren'. They will be really pleased with this news. The bookies have installed Ince as hot favourite for the hot seat at Ewood Park. They don't get it wrong very often.
