Garth Crooks will be relieved to hear that there is someone out there asking footballers stupider questions than even he can come up with. Step forward Fox Soccer Channel's Jeremy St. Louis, commiserating with chivas USA's Jesse Marsch about losing.
It was funny because just a few days before I did that interview with Jesse, I was asked what my most embarassing moment as a broadcaster was – I couldn’t think of anything good.
I should’ve known I’d get something soon enough….Karma perhaps?
There is no excuse – I messed up and I’ve enjoyed reading comments about it. It’s a good learning experience. And when I’m in Chicago in a couple weeks, I’m going to thank Jim Curtin personally for passing it along to his blogging buddies.
Sad to hear about Sarachen – he’s one of the sports true gentleman.
