It was funny because just a few days before I did that interview with Jesse, I was asked what my most embarassing moment as a broadcaster was - I couldn’t think of anything good. I should’ve known I’d get something soon enough….Karma perhaps? There is no excuse - I messed up and I’ve enjoyed reading comments about it. It’s a good learning experience. And when I’m in Chicago in a couple weeks, I’m going to thank Jim Curtin personally for passing it along to his blogging buddies. Sad to hear about Sarachen - he’s one of the sports true gentleman.
