Milner Wants Out, Toon Defence Sub-Pub-Standard

James Milner is set to demand a move away from Newcastle United, according to this report on the Talksport website. Not great timing, what with the transfer window being closed until January.
In other bad news for Toon fans, Shay Given has spoken out about the sub-pub-standard defending that gifted Brian McBride a goal for Fulham this past weekend. Though he didn't name names, it doesn't take a genius to narrow the list of suspects down to Titus Bramble.
Hasn't this comedy of errors in the Newcastle defence gone on long enough? If the Toon can afford to splash the cash on big money strikers, why can't they buy a half decent replacement for Mr. Bramble? And why, why, why did they (reportedly) say no to Sol Campbell this summer?
