Egypt striker Mido (left) threw a tantrum after manager Hassan Shehata (right) dared to (place hand over mouth) substitute him during their African Nations Cup semifinal win over Senegal. Mido went for Shehata and had to be restrained, before eventually taking his place on the bench.

The coaches decision proved right, as Mido's replacement Amr Zaki scored the winner, putting Egypt through to the final against Ivory Coast. Mido won't be involved after the Egyptian FA decided to ban him from the national team for 6 months.

This isn't his first clash with a manager. He was moved on from Ajax after criticising Ronald Koeman's team selection, and made his return to the national team less than a year ago after falling out with previous coach Marco Tardelli. Mido is on thin ice now, as his Spurs boss Martin Jol had warned the temperamental forward to "behave" while away from London.
