Middlesbrough have bolstered their defence by signing both Robert Huth and Jonathan Woodgate.

That's the same Robert Huth who failed a medical earlier this summer, and the same Jonathan Woodgate who, well, you know.

So, unless Huth and Woodgate shared a trip to Lourdes recently (it's cheaper if you split a room) the only explanation is that Boro's defensive needs have forced them to relax the stringency of their medicals.
