Metatarsal Curse Strikes Again: Rooney Out For 6 Weeks

The metatarsal curse strikes again, as it's been confirmed that Rooney's injury is serious. He's "has fractured the base of the fourth metatarsal on the right foot and he will be out for six weeks," said Manchester United in a short statement.

England's first World Cup game is less than six weeks away, so Sven will have to decide whether to gamble and include him in the squad and hope he's fit for later rounds. My guess is he will, but does this mean England will start the World Cup with Peter Crouch up front???
