Maybe not just yet, but can you imagine an England team with Aaron Lennon on the right wing, Theo Walcott on the left wing? Imagine that with the strength of say Gerrard and Hargreaves in the middle and that's an England team to get excited about. There'd be pace and the ability to beat a man down both flanks, a Proper holding midfielder with a box to box midfield general (you know which is which) and whichever strikers just waiting in the middle for the inevitable service.
At ther very least it would be exciting, but until then here's to more 0-0 draws at home to Macedonia…
