Lean 2006 For Liverpool Strikers

It's mid-February and Liverpools strikers still haven't found the net in 2006. Luis Garcia may have scored the winner in their 1-0 win over Arsenal this week, but Djibril Cisse, Fernando Morientes, Peter Crouch and Robbie Fowler are not having a happy new year.

Morientes has been 'settling in' at Anfield for a little too long, Crouch shows some nice touches but isn't particularly lethal, Cisse is lightning fast but lacks confidence and Fowler might be 'the most natural finisher in England' (tm) but he still isn't 100% fit.

Rafa Benitez needs to forge a partnership from two of these four misfiring marksmen. My choice would be a Crouch / Cisse, big man / fast man combo, with the other two warming the bench.
