by daryl on September 8, 2006

Portsmouth's Nwankwo Kanu is the top performer in the Premiership so far, according to Actim, who provide all the leagues stat based needs. The resurgent Nigerian sits on top of the Actim Index Top 100, which is apparently based on "complex mathematical formulae" to rank every players performance and contribution to their team.
The Top 10 looks like this:
1. kanu 98 points
2. louis saha 84 pts
3. bobby zamora 81 pts
4. andy johnson 73 pts
5. Jimmy bullard 72 pts
6. juan pablo angel 71 pts
7. darren bent 68 pts
8. ryan giggs 67 pts
9. wes brown 65 pts
10. mikael silvestre 65 pts
