After David Healy's phenomenal hat-trick gave Norn iron (aka Northern Ireland) a 3-2 win over the formerly mighty Spain, I can't help wondering how good David Healy is.
The former Manchester United youngster now has 23 goals in 52 games for Northern Ireland, incredible given their international struggles. The 27 year old also famously scored the winner against England not so long ago.
He's never had a good crack at the Premiership (playing just one game for Manchester United before being shipped out to Preston) and it seems like now or never for the lad. He's currently at Leeds United, and the transfer window is sealed until winter but when it finally reopens maybe a Premiership side in need of goals could take a gamble and we'll find out how good he is.
In the short term let's hop the scoring touch deserts him this weekend, when Leeds play my beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers.
