The A-League is getting more interesting every week. They now have miniature Brazilian magician Juninho playing down under, as well as one time Brazilian goal machine Mario Jardel. But this week's biggest impact came from Newcastle Jets' Joel Griffiths who bizarrely punched an A-League linesman in a delicate area when a call doesn't go his way.
The referee apparently gave Griffiths nothing worse than a yellow card for his odd protest. But someone out there took internet vengeance on the player via Wikipedia, writing a damning but damn funny entry about the Aussie international.
Someone at Wikipedia has since cleaned the page up, but luckily Bob at The offside had the foresight to copy and paste for prosperity.
