Good Week for former Manchester United midfielder Gordon Strachan as he lifted his first trophy as manager of Celtic, beating Hibs 3-0 in the CIS Cup. Despite extensive research this is the happiest picture of wee Gordon that could be found. He's almost, almost smiling. Almost.

Bad Week for former Manchester United defender Steve Bruce as his Birmingham City were humiliated 7-0 at home in the F.A. Cup by a Liverpool team who couldn't believe their good fortune. So charitable were Bruce's men that when Liverpool's Sami Hyppia scored the opening goal (time: 2 minutes) he was ready to leap for the header but realised no one was going to challenge him.
