It was close this week. Robbie Keane's first goal for Tottenham against Charlton, where two improvised flicks and feints took the Irish captain through the Charlton defence before he volleyed home was the early frontrunner.

Step forward Mr. Ronaldinho, winner of the soccer-weblog Goal Of The Week award, which will sit nicely alongside your two World Player Of The Year awards and World Cup winners medal.
