Things are staring to look a bit more normal in the English Premiership tables after Saturday's matches. Liverpool have inched up to third, Man United have continued to climb, Spurs are showing their quality, and Arsenal sits fifth. Just below, Bolton is in sixth after soundly defeating Arsenal at home.

Chelsea, while still 10 points ahead in the title race, don't have as comfortable a cushion at this stage as the did earlier in the season, and psychologically, the closing gap with some savvy managers just behind them must be disconcerting, especially when that gap becomes 7 points without Man United's game in hand. Liverpool and perhaps Man United look to add some strong talent in January, whereas Chelsea already have most of what they can buy in place. With it not even Christmas, anything can happen...
