Sir alex Ferguson does not want 'to make a monster' out of Rio Ferdinand's contract saga, but maintains the matter must be resolved sooner rather than later.
The Manchester United boss has maintained the club will not be `messed about' by the £29million England international over his £100,000-a-week contract extension. He has also made it clear that once the player's agent, Pini Zahavi, returns from his latest business trip, he expects the situation to be resolved immediately.
How long must he be taken for a fool? He's just a player like many others around. For goodness, just sell the broke!I think Ferguson is losing his edge.
