A global journey…
Soccer fans can rejoice! The big game is here! World cup betting is all the rage in sports books and bars all over the globe. This year the ninteenth FIFA World Cup is being held in beautiful South Africa. Of course, you would have to be sleeping under a rock to not know that, as we already over a week in to this month long competition of the best soccer players on Earth.
Argentina is still holding its own as a prediction favorite for winner. Many people believe that Argentina's only down fall this year comes in the form of national manager Diego Maradona. Others stand by Brazil. Yet, others believe the win should go to an African team.
Then there are others who stand by their own country in a solid wall of patriotism, no matter how bad the team sucks. Of course that is what these games are all about. Putting aside our differences and joining together with people from all over the world at the same time, to cheer.
No matter whose side you are on I hope that you are satisfied by your team's efforts, whether they win or lose. At this point, eleven days in, it's still anybody's game. Anybody except Tunisia of course!
