Dodgy Looking Liverpool Website In Trouble

I was never too impressed with KopTalk, in fact I'm not even going to link to it. Mostly because the Liverpool site always looked very very geared towards making money and not much else. With a boobaliscous girl in a Liverpool shirt (she's nice and all, but what does she have to do with footy?) offers of text message services and paid members only access to news (news which any fool could find on NewsNow) it all seemed not quite right. Add in more than a few poorly founded but eyecatching stories and a title - "Liverpool Football Club: Official Koptalk Wesbite" - designed to trick the not so savvy into thinking this was official Liverpool FC news (it's not) and that's a site not to trust.
So imagine my non-surprise when a story appeared recently on KopTalk Insider (a blog set up basically to denounce/expose KopTalk) that readers who paid £26 for a yearly KopTalk membership subscription (maybe they were mesmerized by the big boobs?) found themselves being charged a further unexplained £26 four to six weeks later, which KopTalk were in no hurry to give back.
I don't want to make any accusations, because I don't really know what has or hasn't happened, but it wouldn't be too surprising if this allegation turns out to be true. At the very least, any Liverpool fans reading this please be smart and read this website before handing over any hard (or even easily) earned money to KopTalk.
