Crouching Striker, Hidden Goals

Liverpool and England striker Peter Crouch is becoming an industry all by himself. After attracting a slew of similar descriptions on his signing with Liverpool from Southampton this autumn for £7 million, the 6ft 7 player's goal drought has now become the most talked about misfiring star since Diego Forlan went 10 months two seasons ago without a goal from open play for Man Utd.
Now Britain's Daily Mail tabloid has jokingly created the Peter Crouch prayer mat seen here so supporters of either of his teams, or wellwishers in general, can send positive vibes to Peter as he seeks to bag his first goal since May.
Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has given his backing to Crouch, who has, to be fair, created a number of goals for his teams through the chaos his size and skill creates among opposing defenders.
So, is Crouch a hidden talent, or simply a novelty act who got lucky at Southampton? Send us your opinions and we will post the sentiment here.
