Having looked at the English press in the last few days there is no doubt that Chelsea are going to be a force to be reckoned with next season.

If you believe the papers, Chelsea are looking to buy Kaka, Torres, Deco, Cristiano Ronaldo, Moutinho and just about every other top player you could possibly think of!

I guess that Deco is a possibility but I can't really see any of the others being likely. I would think that Scolari's first issue is to try to keep the players he already has rather than lose them to join their old boss at Inter. Once he knows who is keeping then he can decide who he wants to bring in.

Whilst he is no doubt in touch with some of new charges and probably Kenyon as well, I think he is quite occupied with trying to guide Portugal to success in the European Championships. That must be taking up a bit of his time at the moment!

However, he is apparently managing to have meaningful negotiations with players in every continent in the world during the tournament which proves what a flexible and impressive coach he is!

I think we should get the Euros out of the way before the transfer speculation becomes too manic and out of control.
