A global journey…
Chelsea have made a smart move and launched an official YouTube channel. A lot of ChelseaTV content will be shown there so expect goals and highlights etc, but no live matches due to licensing restrictions (plus you can't air things live on YouTube anyway can you?). There's been all kinds of trouble about "illegal content" on YouTube recently, basically users uploading goals and highlights to share with other users for no financial gain, and there's been a bit of a stampdown.
I personally don't mind how the content gets to YouTube as long as it's free and available to share with everybody. If Chelsea's YouTube channel sticks to these principles then good luck to them, but if we start seeing subscription packages for YouTube access it's basically the end of the internet and we can all go and do something else.
