Champions League

Chelsea and Liverpool played to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge yesterday. Chelsea paid the price for some woeful finishing in a game of few chances. I would say the best chance of the game comes from Liverpool when Milan Baros' first-half header was almost going in before Petr Cech got a hand on it to push it wide.
Liverpool defender Steve Finnan has vowed to ease Xabi Alonso's pain at missing out on next week's Champions League rematch against Chelsea - by reaching the final.
Rafael Benitez was pleased with his side's performance, believe his side have a good chance of progressing to the final, with the home leg at Anfield to come on Tuesday. I agree with him, Liverpool with the crowd behind them is a tough team to beat.
