If Michael Ballack does sign for Chelsea this summer, will he be able to play alongside Frank Lampard? I like the way Chelsea's midfield operates right now, with the very defensive Claude Makelele, one all round midfielder like Essien or Maniche and a very attack minded Frank Lampard. I can't help thinking Ballack likes to make the same forward runs as Lampard and can see them getting in each others way.
