Campbell to stay at United or go back to Hull?

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted that young striker Fraizer Campbell may get a Premier League chance.
That is for two reasons. Firstly, he is a very promising striker who played a significant part in Hull's promotion to the Premier League last season whilst on loan at the KC Stadium and secondly, because by Sir Alex's own admission, United only have Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney as other strikers at the club!
"He is quick and determined and he can do very well in the game. Fraizer's future is here," said Ferguson. With that phrase he certainly didn't rule out a further loan spell at Hull City who are still hopeful that he could lead their attack in their first ever season in the top flight.
Hull manager Phil Brown said, "He's a Manchester United player and he did a great job for us last season and we'll be there waiting until that door is firmly closed. I've had a lengthy conversation with Sir Alex on Friday and he's promised he'll keep me up to speed with things."
Should Ferguson be successful in his pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov or Roque Santa Cruz, then I would expect to see Campbell heading back to Hull. If no other strikers arrive at Old Trafford
he might get an unexpected chance to show what he can do with the double winners.Permalink: Campbell to stay at United or go back to Hull?
