Mexican footy is an odd beast. Players tend to be fast and skilfull, but not necessarily strong, which makes them fun to watch but probably frustrating to support internationally. There's plenty joy to be had watching the domestic Mexican league though where they go all out with the cheerleaders (above.) Maybe this is the future for Premiership clubs? Or maybe not. Can you imagine the poor girls having to wave pom-poms at Middlesbrough vs Blackburn in mid-December?
