A global journey…
Everyone has their opinion on who will win the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Many predictions point to Brazil as the likely winner of this year's World Cup. Others firmly believe that Nigeria will take home the cup, which would be a great win considering that the tournament will take place on African soil. A few people are even rooting for England to take a surprise win. Other top World Cup picks include Spain and Argentina.
For me personally, I am rooting for the USA out of patriotic duty. Though I am pretty sure that the won't be victorious, a surprise win would be awesome. Considering the very unlikely event of USA taking home a win, If I had to put money on it I would probably go with Brazil or Spain, at this point. Of course it is early yet and after a winter of training none of us really know what these countries have in store. The Brazilian's have a long history of bringing it home so the odds are definitely in their favor.
Then there is Team Germany. Though they probably aren't an overall favorite for many I think they might actually have a shot, at least at the final four. I guess only time will tell. The time is upon us though fellow soccer fans. What are your predictions?
