Brazil 3-0 Argentina, London, September 3rd

Ray Hudson on GolTV said the two teams were like "magnificent gigantic greyhounds" (or something) and that the football came "from the other side of the moon." He's mad as a banana of course, but it was a good game.
The two sides went at each other enough to reassure us that this was no Sven-like friendly. Some of the tackles were pretty heavy duty, and three great goals won the game for Brazil. First Robinho (who had an impressive enough night) fooled everyone with a dragback and used the space to release Elano, who scored with a slight deflection from Bilos. Then in the second half Fred (remember him from the World Cup?) played a smart back heel to Kaka who released Elano again, and the man from Shakhtar Donetsk rifled home for a second time. Finally, Kaka collected the ball in his own half, ran past two Argentine
defenders and slotted home like it was the easiest thing in the world.
3-0 was harsh on Argentina, who had some impressive spells. Leo Messi looked dangerous, though he seemed a little too keen to dribble and Sergio Aguero made a brief appearance during which he dragged one shot wide, and performed a nice scoop over the Brazilian defence that could have resulted in a goal.
Robinho (pictured) looked the business for Brazil, freed from the twin dead weights of Adriano and Ronaldo. Will be interesting to see if Dunga can incorporate Robinho, Elano, Kaka and Ronaldinho against Wales on Tuesday September 5th.
