Reports have resurfaced linking David Beckham with a move to MLS. Apparently New York Red Bulls are keen to offer him a $100 million deal of some form or another.
Sounds ridiculous, but considering the masses of cash Red Bull are prepared to invest into MLS, and the league's eagerness for some big time publicity, this could (emphasis on could) happen.
Becks' Madrid contract is up at the end of this year, and Madrid say they want to keep him, but the midfielder is spending an awful lot of time on the Bernabeu bench this season.
If Becks does find himself in New York next season, at least he won't have to worry about travelling home for England games...
