Bayern in the Transfer Market
Filed in archive Transfer/Shmansfer on May 4, 2005
Newly crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have sealed a deal to sign Asian Player of the Year Ali Karimi next season. Karimi is Bayern's second confirmed signing for next season, with left-back Philipp Lahm due to return from a two-year loan spell at VfB Stuttgart.

The club are also on the look out for a centre-back to fill the place of Robert Kovac, who has announced his intention to leave. Words has it that Bayern Munich are still tracking Celtic defender Bobo Balde after running the rule over him at the recent Old Firm clash. The 29-year-old has been targeted as a replacement for the Croatian centre-back Robert Kovac.
