Audio: Why Portsmouth Said No To Denilson

Portsmouth recently had Denilson on trial, but decided they didn't need the former world's most expensive footballer. Real Betis paid Sao Paulo £22 million for the Brazilian back in 1998, and a couple of years ago it would have been ridiculous for Pompey
to even be talking to such a big name.
Denilson is currently a free agent, so Harry Redknapp had him in, had a look, and told him thanks but no thanks. Click below to hear an mp3 clip of Portsmouth's Assistant Manager Joe Jordan explaining why they didn't want him.
