Arena To Take Over New York?

Got to love American soccer website Matchnight. They keep MLS exciting by throwing rumours around, usually quoting the authoritative but vague "several sources." Sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong, but they're always interesting.
The latest, greatest rumour is that Bruce Arena is all set to take over at nouveau riche MLS outfit Red Bull New York . They say he'll be Director of Soccer Operations as well as Head Coach, which would be a smart move for all involved, though both Arena's agent and the club refused to comment.
